This includes design review and quality control, preconstruction and construction scheduling and budgets at the conceptual design development and final stages. • Assistance with federal, state and local historical tax credits, enterprise zone incentives.
• Assistance with permitting utility coordination.
• CPM scheduling-preconstruction and construction.
• Selection of and/or supervision of design consultants.

Design-build offers many potential advantages over traditional design-bid-build project delivery methods. These advantages include a single source of responsibility and a single point of contact. In addition, design-build can shorten the project schedule and reduce the overall cost of the project in lieu of the number of change orders.

VIRTEXCO has been performing Design/Build work for over 10 years for both public and private clients. Projects include a diverse array of building types such as medical facilities, historic preservation, recreational and educational facilities for such clients as Eastern Virginia Medical School, NAVFAC Mid-Atlantic and private developers.
